Day 3
Today is the day of market in Douz, it’s a very nice day to be here and a lot of things to buy. Even if you don’t feel like buying anything it’s just a great atmosphere to walk around. We went to the place where you buy hay and bought 7 for the camels. We walked around with Ahmed and watched him checking the quality of the hay and discuss prices. When we had chosen a good place to buy we sent it to where the camels are with a tuk-tuk.
We also bought a new carpet for Snigel and I found a very nice sweater.
When we came to the camels for today’s training Mike put the rope in the nose ring for the first time, it went really well. When it was time to get up on Lahjal he remembered to put his foot on the neck straight away, he’s learning fast.

I went to sit in one of the sand dunes to do the updates and write and it was great.
I filmed them when they came back and it looked really good, Lahjal stumbled but Mike managed to stay in the saddle. They had a good training and ran a little bit faster today.
