The insulation under the bathroom is in place, the chipboards are on top and it looks very good! We have continued with the ceiling and insulated it. The hole where the stairs used to be is gone and now the only way down and up is through the hatch.

It’s cold outside now.
For the first time ever we did winter swimming! Our neighbour, Leila, has a sauna on her houseboat and she had cut out a hole in the ice so we could go for a swim. It was a strange feeling to go out from the really hot sauna and into the really cold water. She told us we had to stay in the water for a little while and then stay outside a while before going into the sauna again. It felt like prickling ice crystals all over the skin and a bit of a head rush. It was actually very nice and I’m sure we’ll do it again.
It looks beautiful outside but we’re really looking forward to go to Spain soon.
Mike has installed the WC in the wall and the frame for the bathroom walls are up. The first frame in the wall for one of the windows is up.
