Last night we packed our things to bring to the desert. This time we have our own tent, sleeping mats and sleeping bags with us. It’s going to be nice to sleep in the desert again.
We went to the souk to meet Ahmed and Fathi around nine. We didn’t leave until around one so we had a lot of time to drink sweet mint tea at Cafe Culturel 🙂
We didn’t drive for so long the first day. We had a stop for lunch at a cafe in the desert and arrived at the place we were going to spend the first night just before sunset. It was a small cafe that was located next to a bir (well). We had dinner and sat up talking for a while before we went to bed. Me and Mike slept very good in our tent, it’s great to be back in the desert!
