Day 2
Today Ahmed taught Mike how to get up on Lahjal by holding on to the nose, putting his foot on the neck and swing his leg over to sit up in the saddle. It’s not so easy the first time and he forgot to put his ”gas foot” on the neck directly. This is very important so that you won’t fall off if the camel stands up. It did look like he’d done it before and I’m sure he will learn how to do it correct quickly.

Mike and Ahmed went off for the training and stayed and wrote for the blog and did some updates on our

Amor came after a while to prepare the food and we talked for a bit before Mike and Ahmed came back after the training. It looked really good when they came riding and they both looked happy after the 17 km they had been riding even though it was raining a bit. Mike tried a new technique today and was very tired in his leg. He saw a desert wolf or fox far away during the training which is not that common. We had bought some carrots for Lahjal and Bourak and the really liked it! We gave them their food and then went back to Douz.
